The National League of Cities (NLC) celebrates Small Cities Month every June to recognize cities with a population of 50,000 or less for the significant role they play
in strengthening local government. Mayor Dean M. Harris presented an NLC Small Cities Month Proclamation at the regular meeting of Weirton City Council on June 9 in appreciation of the big impact small communities make in our Nation.
Thank you NLC for recognizing the contributions that cities like Weirton make in your organization and our country.
