The City of Weirton Administrative Offices will be closed on Monday, December 25, in celebration of Christmas. The Public Works and Weirton Transit schedules are as follows:
- Public Works – Offices will be closed and sanitation services will not run on Monday, December 25. Collection of garbage and recyclables for the week of December 26 through December 29 will run one day late.
- Weirton Transit Corporation – Offices will be closed and there will be no transit services on Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26. Regularly scheduled routes will resume on Wednesday, December 27.
