WEIRTON — The Weirton Board of Park & Recreation Commissioners will sponsor a duty-free veterans' clothing shop on Monday, December 11 at the Weirton Millsop Community Center from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
During this time, all United States Military veterans who show their military ID card or present their DD214 can look through the used clothes on hand and leave with the items they choose, free of charge.
All veterans taking part in the shop must be able to verify their honorable discharge from the the military.
The gently used clothing being given away was collected through the 9th Annual Bob Busch Veterans' Clothing Drive. All items will be given away on a first come, first served basis. No items can be reserved or laid away.
All clothing remaining after the veterans' shop event will be delivered to local outlets dedicated to meeting the needs of U.S. Military veterans.
