The City of Weirton Administrative Offices will be closed Friday, December 22, 2023 in celebration of Christmas. The Public Works and Weirton Transit schedules are as follows:
- Public Works – Offices will be closed. The collection schedule for garbage and recyclables will remain the same; it WILL NOT be altered.
- Weirton Transit Corporation – The Weirton Transit Bus Corporation’s office hours and bus schedule will remain the same; it WILL NOT be altered.

Questions concerning the transit schedule should be directed to the Weirton Transit Corporation at (304) 797-8500, Ext. 1023.
