Never Alone, WV held a powerful community drug awareness event on November 30th that moved all attendees. Speakers spoke bravely about their personal stories of  loved ones they have lost to the darkness of drugs. The personal stories they shared were a stark reminder that addiction has no boundaries and that the issue should be approached with compassion and understanding.
In recognition of Christian Heritage Week and the assistance Never Alone, WV provides to our community through Christian ministries and support groups for those struggling with addiction, Mayor Dean M. Harris presented a proclamation at the event to founder Patti Barnabei.
Education and community are our strongest weapon against  the war on drugs. All are encouraged to learn more about the signs of addiction and to join the fight against the drug crisis that plagues our nation!
