NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Harold E. Miller, Mayor of the City of Weirton, does hereby proclaim June 19, 2022, as JUNETEENTH in the City of Weirton, and encourages all residents to acknowledge the evils of slavery and rejoice the fact that the sins of the past do not define us. May we join together as a unified community and forever be grateful that we truly are all created equal.
