The Building Enforcement Agency created by ordinance, consists of the Mayor, City Engineer and a third member who serves at the will and pleasure of the Mayor.

Responsibilities


The Building Enforcement Agency conducts hearings on the condemnation of structures within the city limits of the City of Weirton and oversees the demolition of all condemned structures as a result of the hearings.
