Curbside Recycling Program

Newspapers:	Remove plastic delivery bags. Remove inserts (coupons, flyers).	Bundle and place beside recycling can.
Lawn Clippings & Yard Waste:	No plastic bags or cardboard boxes. No large branches or limbs.	Place in open containers.
Aluminum & Steel Cans:	No aluminum foil. No food trays. No paint cans or non-food containers.	No need to sort! Rinse containers, remove lids, and place in recycling cans.
Glass:	No glass blocks, light bulbs, ceramics, heat treated or plate glass, headlights, windshields, mirrors, or non-food containers.	No need to sort! Rinse containers, remove lids, and place in recycling cans.
Corrugated Cardboard:	No pizza boxes, cereal boxes, or soda cartons. No boxes with shiny coating.	Break down, bundle, and place beside recycling can.

Please note that the City of Weirton currently does not pick up plastics.
