Finance

The Finance Department’s role is to provide financial customer service to utility customers, other City departments, employees and vendors. Our goals involve providing quality management of the City’s financial resources.

Location

We are located on the first floor of the Municipal Building, 200 Municipal Plaza. Customers may park in the free, visitor parking spaces in the area to the rear of the building.
 
Enter the Municipal Building from one of these methods:
 
  • The front glass doors facing Cove Road (across from Cove Commons) The front of the building can be accessed from the lower rear parking area by either of the outdoor staricases located on the left and right sides of the building.  The customer service window will be located directly ahead of the front entrance.
  • From the lower parking area, by entering the Ground Floor doors on the side of the building facing the West Virginia State Office Building.  Once inside, use the stairwell which is immediately through the door on your right.  After exiting the stairwell on the 1st Floor, proceed forward to the end of the hall and the customer service window will be on your left.
  • From the lower parking area, by entering the Ground Floor doors on the side of the building facing the West Virginia State Office Building.  Once inside, proceed forward through the first doorway, make a right and then an immediate left and follow the hallway until you arrive at the elevator on your left.  Take the elevator to the 1st Floor and upon exiting the elevator, the customer service window will be directly to your left.
For your convenience, a utility bill drop box is located in the rear parking lot of the Municipal Building in the area between the Millsop Community Center and the Municipal Building.  (Vehicle access)
