Citizens with Disabilities Advisory Commission

The Citizens with Disabilities Advisory Commission was established by Ordinance on May 8, 2006. The commission shall consist of seven (7) members who shall be recommended by the Mayor and affirmed by the Council of the City of Weirton. At least two (2) members of the commission shall have a disability. All members shall be residents of the City of Weirton. One member shall be a current member of Weirton City Council. All appointments shall be for terms of three (3) years and all vacancies for the unexpired terms of any member shall be for the period of said member term.
