Building Enforcement Agency

The Building Enforcement Agency created by ordinance, consists of the Mayor, City Engineer and a third member who serves at the will and pleasure of the Mayor.

The Agency conducts hearings on the condemnation of structures within the city limits of the City of Weirton and oversees the demolition of all condemned structures as a result of the hearings.

The Building Enforcement Agency normally meets the third Tuesday of every month at 2:30 p.m. in Council Chambers.
