City of Weirton and Weirton Festival Committee
to Collect Food and Toys for the Salvation Army
The City of Weirton is partnering up with the Weirton Festival Committee to collect food and toys for the Salvation Army to help those in need during the holiday season. Beginning on Monday, October 30, 2023 through Friday, December 1, 2023, food and toy donations can be taken to the following locations:
- City Municipal Building
- Fire Departments
- Millsop Community Center
- Mary H. Weir Public Library
In addition, “Stuffing a Police Cruiser and Fire Truck” will take place at the 2023 Weirton Christmas on Main Street Event being held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in support of the food and toy drive. Those who would like to donate toys and/or food may also bring their donations to these vehicles during the event.
