The Weirton Millsop Community Center is one of the Ohio Valley's premiere outlets for Lifeguard training.
WMCC's experienced Lifeguard Instructors are dedicated to teaching students the latest in life-saving and rescue techniques.
Those who complete the 21-hour training course at WMCC receive a 2-year Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED certificationon from the American Red Cross.
The class fee of $250.00 covers the cost of class materials, instructor fees and swimming pool time and puts lifeguard students on the fast track to employment at the Weirton Park Board's aquatic facilities. If a re-certification is all you need begin patrolling the pool side, WMCC offers review courses for $125.00.
